Keron of the Tamiir - Backstory Summary

Keron was born in a small village belonging to the Tamiir-Quah (Wind Tribe) of the Shoanti people. His father, Khan, was a great warrior who died in battle protecting the village against a massive force of orc marauders. His mother, Fereal, is a powerful village shaman and commands great respect amongst the Tamiir Quah for her connection to the spirit world.

Professor Lorrimor sought out Fereal during his studies of the supernatural and stayed with the village for a period of time. Keron became close with the Professor and once saved his life when he was attacked by Orc bandits during an exploration of nearby ruins. The professor was very grateful to the young barbarian and took him under his tutelage for the remainder of his stay with the tribe.

Keron is able to enter a battle rage known amongst his people as the 'Urok-Tor'. His strength and will is infused with power from the beast spirits venerated by his tribe. During the Urok-Tor his eyes glow red and he is capable of amazing feats of strength and endurance. As a young warrior he is only able to contain the power of the spirits for a brief period of time before he loses his hold on them and falls into exhaustion.
